The exact time and day of your birthday vary each year, because of the Earth's elliptical orbit, leap years and small irregularities. To obtain the solar return chart, we calculate the moment the Sun returns to exactly the same degree, minute and second as its natal position.
That yearly chart is read against your birth chart, integrating it with other timing techniques such as profections, directions and transits. In the medieval and Islamic tradition they were called “revolutions of the years of nativities”, which is where the name comes from.
You can also relocate your birthday. Changing latitude and longitude does not change the zodiacal positions of the Sun or the planets, but it does change the Ascendant, the Midheaven and all the house cusps: it changes how the themes of the year are distributed.
It is important that an experienced astrologer first rectifies the birth chart, so that the scenarios and positions match the client's reality. Without that, you fall into predictive errors and unfounded conjectures.

After payment you receive a form for your birth details and up to five questions. If anything needs clarifying, you have one round of clarifications on those same questions.
