Gemstone Astrology

Gemstone astrology studies the symbolic relationship between gems and heavenly bodies: how certain minerals are associated with planets, signs or fixed stars and used as talismans or remedies within an astrological framework.

The consultation

Where this tradition comes from

Two astrological traditions use them in their consultations.

How much is the consultation?

USD 120

A complete PDF, written in English, delivered within 5 days, wherever you are in the world.

You can pay securely with any card.

Do you speak Spanish? You can also have this consultation live, one-to-one by video call, in Spanish: book it here (in Spanish). If you can’t take it in Spanish, the written consultation is not a lesser version: it follows the same procedure as the live one and gives you the same analyses.

  1. India: the nine gems

Since antiquity, Sanskrit treatises have linked nine gems —the Navaratna— with the nine grahas of Vedic astrology: ruby and the Sun, pearl and the Moon, red coral and Mars, emerald and Mercury, yellow sapphire and Jupiter, diamond and Venus, blue sapphire and Saturn, hessonite and Rahu, cat's eye and Ketu.

  2. Europe: the lapidaries

In the medieval period, the correspondence between gems and heavenly bodies was taken from the Egyptian and Arabic tradition and set down in the lapidaries. The De lapidibus attributed to Damigeron and Evax, and that of Marbodius of Rennes, describe the medical and astrological virtues of stones; later, Agrippa systematized the correspondences in De occulta philosophia, of 1533.

  3. What it is not

Modern lists of “birthstones by month” are something else: a US jewelers' association standardized them in 1912 for commercial reasons, and they are not equivalent to traditional astrological use.

  4. And why your chart matters

It is common to hear that rose quartz will boost love for everyone. But if that quartz is not harmonious in the birth chart of the person wearing it, it can have the opposite effect. That is why which mineral suits each person comes from a detailed analysis of their chart.

What it's for

The stone, with intention and timing

My consultation is not about “wear this stone and that's it”. I know the tradition, I read your chart and your context, and I choose the right stone or stones, with clear intention, timing and use: what to wear, where, for how long and with what concrete goal.

I don't sell miracles; I help you build a meaningful process, respectful of your health and complementary to any treatment.

FAQ

What people often ask me

What approach do you use?

I work with traditional predictive astrology. I use verifiable rules, mathematics and geometry, and observation of nature. I don't do fortune-telling, magic and the like; I offer a serious analysis for decision-making.

Which consultation should I choose, and what is the difference?

The Services page explains each type of consultation in detail. In general, a first consultation is about your birth chart, with a predictive focus and your questions. That is why, if this is your first consultation with me, I recommend choosing the Birth Chart Reading.

What details do I need for a consultation?

Date, exact time and place of birth. The best source for the time is your birth certificate. If you don't know it, say so and give the time your parents told you. In any case, I always rectify the birth time for every client. You send these details in the form you receive after payment.

How does the written consultation work?

After payment you receive a form for your birth details and up to five questions. Within five days I send you a complete PDF, in English, with the same structure as my live consultations: the analysis, the answers to your questions and the charts that illustrate them. If anything needs clarifying, you have one round of clarifications on those same questions.
